Adopting
BellKeeper adoptions will be posted on the species owner's DeviantArt account Levira2019 unless it involves other parties (guest artists, collaborations etc.)
Adoptions may be, but are not limited to, the following formats:
- Auctions
- Set Price
- Offer To Adopt
- Draw to Adopt/Write to Adopt
- Customs/MYOs
Offers are accepted depending on the sale type Set Priced Adoptions are accepted on a first come first-served basis. Auctioned Adoptions end 24 hours after the last bid or if AB Offering Adoptions are accepted via choice by the poster.
I currently only accept USD via Paypal invoice.
Buyers will receive the full-sized artwork via note after payment is confirmed.
All additional rewards/add-ons (original artwork file, extra artworks etc.) will be listed in individual adoption posts if any.

Set Priced
Do not trace/steal/copy the design(s) in any way. This is considered a copyright violation.
Do not repost the original design artwork without permission. Buyers are allowed to post it on their personal/private, non-commercial character websites (toyhou.se etc) - This is the only exception.
Buyers are not allowed to resell the adoptable(s) for more than the original sale price, unless additional, paid-for artworks are involved.
If a buyer fails to respond/pay within the next 48 hours of purchase confirmation, the adoptable will be sold to the next most recent buyer or put back on sale.
Adoptables can be put on hold for a maximum of 3 days.
Strictly no refunds.
Auction
Do not trace/steal/copy the design(s) in any way. This is considered a copyright violation.
Bid in chain (reply to whichever is the highest bid) Any bids outside of the chain will be invalid.
Serious bidders only Ensure that you can afford the offered price; no hiding/deleting offers/comments or you will risk being blocked immediately. If it is absolutely necessary that you forfeit the bid, please inform me as soon as possible.
Buyers are not allowed to resell the adoptable(s) for more than the original sale price, unless additional, paid-for artworks are involved.
If a buyer fails to respond/pay within the next 48 hours of purchase confirmation, the adoptable will be sold to the next most recent buyer or put back on sale.
Adoptables can be put on hold for a maximum of 7 days only if AB.
Payment plans are accepted for AB bids (50/50)

Serious offers only Ensure that you can afford whatever is offered; no hiding/deleting offers/comments or you will risk being blocked immediately. If it is absolutely necessary that you forfeit the offer, please inform me as soon as possible.

If the offer was a non-monies (artworks, literature etc.) The adoptable will automatically be trade on and non-resalable, unless additional, paid-for artworks are involved.

The very first step to becoming a summoner, is to summon your BellKeeper!
You may choose to adopt an uncommon or rare BellKeeper right off the bat; or you may choose to create your very own common BellKeeper.
By creating your own, you will earn title(s) to be presented in the group (Both titles are limited to one per person)

How do I get about creating my own BellKeeper?
Be sure to read through the introductory lore story for a gist of what BellKeepers are.
Be sure to check the trait sheet on what you can or cannot use in your Design. Common BellKeepers can only use common traits. If you wish to use traits that are not listed, give them a suggestion in the trait sheet post (not here!)
Be sure to read through the FAQ for common questions. If there are any unanswered questions, ask in the FAQ post (not here!)
Done? Moving on to designing!
Grab your pen and start drawing! BellKeeper registration requires an artwork to act as a reference sheet - fullbody preferred. Both traditional and digital art are accepted.
Don't forget their personality, name and other characteristics.
You may choose to give them a backstory in relation to the lore. That would be interesting!
The review stage will be done by our Civil-Keepers and Royal-Keepers. Submit your new BellKeeper artwork to DeviantArt and then to the BellKeeper Art folder in our group: BellKeepers If there are any changes required, it will be discussed in your submission. Once done, you will be updated to our Masterlist and your title will be given (listed in Masterlist)

Long ago, the world was shrouded in darkness. People cowered from monsters and ran from evil spirits that plagued all corners of the land. Danger lurked everywhere and every setting of the sun foreboded another night of terror.
After generations of fear, the people decided to fight back. They put aside their differences and worked together to bring a stop to the endless calamity. Despite the increase in bloodshed, the humans' newly formed comraderies and bonds gave them hope for a brighter future.
During another one of their advances to reclaim land, lightning suddenly struck the earth and lit up the night. From the flames and ashes, rose an unfamiliar figure that one could only describe as otherworldly.
That was when the people knew. Their hope had finally called forth their new warriors:
The BellKeepers
How the BellKeepers actually came to be, remains a mystery. Some say they were people who ascended into a being beyond, while others claim that they were never human to begin with.
Well, let me tell you the story I heard.
The story that originated in China, about a humble Blacksmith who cared deeply for his martial warrior friend. Worried about the fighting yet being unable to help, he crafted a bell and gifted it as a protective charm. It was anything but expensive, yet his friend treasured it dearly.
During the next battle, he was gravely injured and could only watch as the incoming monsters stalked towards him, giggling and cooing. Just when he had given up, the bell tied to his sword chimed. Once.
The strong need to protect.
Twice.
The unwavering wish to reunite.
Although knowing it was a futile attempt, he raised his sword nonetheless.
Thrice.
And when he did, the third ring chimed loud and clear, calling forth the legendary lightning strike, as well as the figure that followed.
Legends later named the figure Chuan Yi.
Chuan Yi's existence brought hope to the people, for they could banish evil spirits and do battle with ease whenever summoned by the warrior's bell. Life got better and easier.
As stories and legends started spreading far and wide, people began crafting their own bells as an homage. To their surprise, some bells magically chimed and over time, more of those like Chuan Yi appeared. Some were strong warriors, some were protectors of homes, some excelled at certain skills and more.
These beings adapted well to different cultures and lifestyles depending on where they were first summoned; and soon, BellKeepers roamed the lands while living loyally alongside humans.
When the last war ended, peace was finally attained. The people rejoiced.

However, the world always finds its way to balance out the good and the evil.
At the cost of peace, BellKeepers began to disappear.
Those that lost their purpose slowly faded away. Those that were no longer needed were dismissed or abandoned. And then there were those... who became the victims of prejudice and slavery; they later turned on the very humans they once considered friends.
You see, when a BellKeepers loses itself emotionally and gets shrouded by hate, its bell breaks and cracks. What happens to those broken BellKeepers? Hm... that is a story for another time.
You may be wondering.
Why am I telling you all this?
Well... would you believe me if I told you that another evil is approaching the human world?
One that will be caused by the same darkness from all those years ago. Except this time, it blossoms from the hearts of humans themselves. By feeding off emotions like greed and hate, it has grown strong yet again.
It has been many centuries since I bid my mortal friends goodbye.
And I, along with others of my kind have since lived peacefully in another dimension, parallel to that of humans'.
Yet I feel that the BellKeepers may be needed once again.
I need your help to guide us to your world.
Will you summon us... to fight alongside you?
